Why ride with us

Work that tells you where you stand

Courier work goes wrong in the same places every time: you do not know what a job pays, you do not know if you will make the deadline, and you do not know what the week comes to until it is over. All three are answered on the screen.

You see the pay before you accept

Every job on the board carries the exact amount you will be paid for it, next to the distance and both postcodes. Nothing is hidden until after you have said yes.

You choose when you work

Go on duty when it suits you and off when it does not. There is no minimum, no shift to book and nobody chasing you for hours you did not want.

The route is worked out for you

The app orders your stops by deadline and distance, gives you turn-by-turn through the map app you already use, and tells you what is tight before it becomes late.

The more you deliver, the earlier you pick

Points on every delivery move you up the tiers, and a higher tier opens the next day’s booked work before everyone else — so the good jobs reach you first.

One app for the whole day

Jobs, map, the open board and your earnings, in the same place. Proof of delivery is a photo and a signature, taken on the phone in your hand.

Paid every week

Your statement is in the app as the week runs — job by job, what it paid and what the week comes to. No invoices to write and nothing to chase.

The application

6 steps, and you can stop between any of them

Everything saves as you go, so you can gather a document today and carry on tomorrow without losing your place. You get an email each time a step moves, and the portal always shows the one you are on.

What you need

Have these to hand before you start

Gathering them first is the difference between an application that takes a couple of days and one that drags for two weeks. Photographs from your phone are fine, as long as every corner is in frame and the text is readable.

Also, whatever your vehicle

Your bank details for weekly pay, plus a statement in your own name. If you are not a British citizen we also ask for your right to work share code, which we check with the Home Office.

A learner licence is fine

On a motorcycle you can ride on a learner licence — we ask for your CBT certificate as well. Nothing extra is asked of a bicycle.

Questions

Before you apply

Do I need my own vehicle?
Yes. You deliver on your own bicycle, motorcycle or van, and it has to be insured and road-legal for the work. We do not hire vehicles out.
How old do I have to be?
You have to be 18 or over, with the right to work in the UK.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. There is nothing to pay to apply and nothing to pay to work with us. Your own costs — the vehicle, its insurance, your DBS check — are yours, as they are with any courier work.
How long does the application take?
The form itself is minutes. What takes the time is gathering the paperwork and our team checking each step, which we do in working hours. You get an email every time a step moves.
Can I do this alongside another job?
Yes. You decide when you go on duty, so plenty of people ride around other work. There is no minimum number of hours.
Am I employed by GoBrUk?
No. You work as a self-employed courier through the GoBrUk platform, which means you are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance. The full terms are in the agreement you read and sign during the application.

Ready to start?

The first step is your name, your date of birth and how to reach you. It takes a couple of minutes, and you can gather the paperwork afterwards.
